Carne Asada Tacos feature thinly sliced, grilled steak marinated in citrus and spices, served on warm corn tortillas with fresh onion, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime. Ingredients

0.50 cups orange juice
0.25 cups lime juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 clovess garlic, minced
2 tablespoons and
0.25 cups cilantro, chopped
1 teaspoon chili powder
0.50 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt
0.50 teaspoons black pepper
1.50 pounds flank steak, trimmed
8 corns tortillas
0.50 cups onion, finely chopped
0.50 cups salsa
0 s 1 lime, cut into wedges

Steps

  1. Prepare the marinade: whisk together citrus, oil, garlic, and spices.

  2. Marinate the steak: place flank steak in a shallow dish, pour in marinade, and refrigerate at least 15 minutes.

  3. Preheat grill or grill pan to high; remove steak from marinade and grill until medium, about 4 minutes per side.

  4. Let steak rest 5 minutes, then thinly slice against the grain.
